Bettie Jo & Tibbs Jr. as well as to Penny Jo these two females will be there first time with him. Bettie's in line mate for life was Cherry and Penny Jo just became of age at 2 years. I had pland to breed her with Tibbs Jett, but he was killed, which was Tibbs Jr's sire. His dam is Reba the red tri. These should be of good skills and of very nice colors. Stay tuned for more up dates due in late April, or early May 2012. Waiting list has started. mim. 25.00 holding fee. price for adoption is 350.00 total. Call or email for more details.
This is Bessie her mate is Danny. Danny is a ticking blue aussie not to be confused with a blue merle. The ticking gene is the dominant gene and takes presidents in him not a merle gene. They just had there DNA retested and the results are neg for any defects. I will post the results as soon as they mail them back. I can down load them from there web site, but they won't post to my site. I have to scan them then post them here.
There litter due in late May earley June 2012
These are Darby's and Tibbs Jett all are blue merles. All her litters bred to Tibbs Jett are merles. He was killed in a crash in the yard, but his son Tibb Jr. should produce the same litter types, all merles. Penny Jo is the full sister to Darby Jo . I suspect that they will throw nothing but blue merles with copper points and most of them with blue eyes. The same for Betty Jo. Will we see them any day now.
Dan the man. Bessie's mate Danny is a ticking blue aussie. not a merle. Can you tell the difference between him and Bessie's coat. She's the merle you can see the blending with hers in the tips and undercoat. His is spotted not blended, or what is called ticked. It is this gene that is in the blue ticked hound, which gives that breed the name the blue tick hound dog. How you know the difference. If you call him a merle you'd be wrong DNA can't lie.
Penny Jo when she turn't one year old.
This is Betty Jo 4 years old blue merle with blue eye's and so very smart. She is Penny Jo's dam she is due in two weeks, or less. She's been bred to Tibb's Jr. as is Penny Jo . Her litter results should be close to Penny's less red factored and lighter blues.
