Have you heard of Program for ridding fleas? Program ( Lufenuron ) at Petco I priced six capsules @106.00 for 21 to 45 lb dog. Well Umm? It's a pill given once a month which kills flea larva.
The Generic equivalent ( Lufenuron ) to program is only 7 dollars & 50 cents for 6 capsules/ Six month protection the same as program for a 26 to 45 lb dog for less then 1/10 of the cost. Keep in mind that Lufenuron is what kills flea larva in both products. What he say? That's right 7.50 cents. And don't worry if your doggy isn't that big or if he's smaller because it comes in all weights by milligrams per pound Lufenuron by any other name is still Lufenuron. ( 23.1mg dogs less then 5lbs ) ( 95mg 6-25 lbs ) ( 194mg 26-45 lbs ) ( 409mg 45-110 lbs ). The boxes are marked by weight so you can't mess it up.
Lufenuron will not kill adult fleas. However Capstar will and the Generic name for that is Nitenpyram Which is what kills the adult fleas. Lets price it at Petco first for a dog 25 lbs and up it's $35.99. for 6 capsules
Nitenpyram Generic for (capstar) 12.99 for 12 capsules for dogs 25 lbs and up. Now that's twice the number of capsules that do the exact same thing ( KILL FLEAS ) they also come in 2-25 lb for dogs. And they work just as well as the higher price ones because it's the same exact thing NITENPYRAM is what kills fleas and its in both products in the same amounts just as LUFENURON is in the same products that kill flea larva in the same amounts. Got it? Then get it. Keep them fleas off your buddy. He'll be most grateful.
In review it'll cost you 7.50+12.99= $20.49 to break the flea cycle for good. NO baths, No sprays, or chemicals. Just a pill. All done. Be sure to read the entire package before dosing your dogs follow the directions to the letter. Read what Your Pet Source Inc. has to say about it. You can call them at 1-786-678-0370 customer service. It also comes in combo packs for a few dollars less. WELL ! What are you looking at? Your dog? He can't use the computer, or call. Log on this website and look for yourself. www.YourPetSource.com Let them know you heard it from me when you call. This is important so please speak up. Another one is www.animalloverhousellc.com you can get the same product at a very fair price.
If your dog has fleas chances are he digested a few chewing on himself. Well we can't have that because once that happens you have another problem. ( TAPE WORMS. ) However this is easy to fix with canidon given by weight this is a de-wormer highly effect and very safe. The cheapest I found is buying from the manufacture, or there agents 100 tablets cost me 47.00. Chances are if your not a breeder/rescue you will never need 100, or even 50. However I am, and I like to have them here at all times because you never know when you'll fine a dog in the woods tied to a tree, some puppies disregarded in the swamps, and even a pregnant dog put out alongside the road? I don't know about you but these things happen to me rather often. Even had a few dogs just show up that needed help. At 50 cents a pill how can you turn your back any animal that needs a little help? The cost of caring for a animal is very little. The big rescues say differently when they ask for donations, but of course they're going to jack up the price 100 times over. Heartwormer ( noromectin ) @ 53 cents per month. 5 way puppy shots 7.00 each needed 3 total., rabies shots 5.00 one every 3 years Fenbendazole 1.35 cent, every six months. Nitenpyram (kills fleas about 1 dollar given once.)( monthly Lufenuron defleaer cap. 1. 50 a month.) and Canidon if they get tapeworm less than 50 cents per tablet given by weight. I posted just about everyone I deal with concerning dog supplies. There is another http://www.pharmacy-group.com. there in Bulgaria Europe. There good people too. You'll find on the health and welfare page on this site some other useful information and where to get the things your dogs needs at one tenth the price that most all others charge. Take your dogs on a vacation with the money you'll save.
Lets discuss V.I.A. Vaccine Induced Autoimmunity.
There is so much to say on this subject. It's hard to know just where to begin to tell someone that hasn't seen the studies or read the reports and hasn't gained first hand knowledge from experience being with dogs all their life . I've studied for many years. I reached my own conclusions they just happen to agree with the best people in the county on the subject. Dr.Ronald Schulz University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Richard Ford NC. State University College of Veterinary Medicine
According to the American Animal Hospital Association ( A.A.H.A. ) 2003 canine vaccine guidelines Recommendations, and supporting literature; The minimum DOI for killed rabies vaccine based on challenge studies is 3/4 years. BASED on antibody titers it is considered to be up to 7 years.
Michel Aubert published in the Scientific Review 1992 11 (3) 735-760 which demonstrated that dogs were immune to a rabie challenge 5 years after vaccination.
2011 Purdue University Demonstrated that vaccination of dogs using routine protocol and commonly used vaccines, induces autoantibodies. The autoantibody response appears to be antigedriven probably directed against bovine antgens that contaminate vaccines as a result of cell culture process and, or as stabilizers. So yea the vaccine, or something in the vaccine is the cause of V.I.A. There you have it in black and white. If you don't know what Vaccine Induce Autoimmunity is and you own a dog you had better look it up if you care about him or her. It's what every dog owner should know.
Why would trust some stranger with your dog's health? Who is responsible for your dog if not you? Rabies vaccine is known to cause aggression towards other dogs and obsessive-compulsive disorder also compromises the immune system. DO NOT RABIES VACCINATE YEARLY! Do rabies because the law states that they must be vaccinated. It should be every 7 years, but there is not enough money in that for the drug companies and less for the vets. Think about it dogs live in general 14 years so all they get is two shots the vaccine companies cry the blues over that change and kept it yearly for the past 40 some years now they have that 3 year shot same vaccine. It's all just more Bull Shite poitictics. What! did you think the lobbyist for the drug companies had nothing to say about this? Then you're dreaming. Wake up! DO NOT DO ANY YEARLY BOOSTER SHOTS OF ANY KIND.( RABIES OR CORE SHOTS ) CORE SHOTS ARE NOT REQUIRED BY LAW AND THEY HARM MY DOGS IN MAJOR WAYS AFTER THE THIRD. Veterinarians have seen these studies and have the same knowledge from the A.A.H.A. as I have and now you have. So why haven't some of them let you know that doing a yearly rabies shot and yearly core shots is useless and harmful? Once you figure that one out then you'll want to find a honest vet. Happy hunting.
Core shots; I do no more than 2 or 3 myself of the five way shots in a lifetime never seen a problem develop in my 61 years in any of my aussie's, or labs. Rabies every 3 years until they change the law to 7 years. And if you live in a state that allows you to give your own rabie shot you'll make out better for it concerning the health and well being of your own dogs. I'd welcome any intelligent argument on this matter, but there is no facts to back the other side at all. So if you live in a ideal place you do what is best for your dogs, and damn the stupid nitwits that tell you differently. The laws between NC. and Va. concerning legal age of adoption of a puppy is 7 weeks in Va. 8 weeks in NC. Either state isn't really qualified to voice any opinion as a fact, or make such a law there not breeders and know nothing concerning different breeds of dogs. The two states wouldn't agree on the color of shite anyway they're all petty asshats for the most part with the need to throw power around to act like they're governing over people to feel adequate as men. I have no need, or desire to be governed over by such persons. I capable of governing myself so vote for me.
There are times when you think they have fleas, but on closer examination it's sheep lice they're really hard to see, but easy to kill just about any flea dips and shampoos will do the job most have the killing agent permethrin at levels 12 to 17 % not so much for puppies though, there is only one you can use on puppies under 12 weeks old. It's made by Natural Chemistry ( Natural Flea & Tick Spray ) Sold by Revival Animal Health there is also the shampoo by the same name both are safe for dogs of all ages. Will kill lice for sure, but not the eggs. Wash them puppies again every three weeks for 2 months with it that'll insure the eggs are all hatched out and the louse are dead as a doornail. You can just wash the bedding in water 113* F that'll kill any lice. Either that, or bag it up for 8 weeks they can't live that long without a host so that work too. They don't transfer to humans by the way just sheep birds and dogs. Remember with anything that needs killin you study it first no matter the size of the prey if it's a threat to your dog's health it's your enemy too. Any questions just call me. 252 396 0233.
