Copper points will start to appear in a few days to a week then brighten up as time go's by. There maybe a few that hold just the blue with out the copper points really hard to say for sure just yet. They will be feeding every two hours at this time.
By the 3rd week there tails will show better coming out from being turn't towards their bodies and sometimes just under them this is there way to show their passiveness among their litter mates until cutting teeth. Mostly sleeping all the time still two hours on 6 off. Feeding will be every 4/6 hours. They get dewormed at this time if they have them on not. Mom will now allow and even encourage her mother and the older females in her line to baby sit and come visit.
There eyes will open in 9 /10 days. They will be wobbly when walking. Eye color won't set until there 5th week.
Soon you will notice the tails will be straiten even some curved upwards especially when there feeding. This begins when they cut teeth and begin to walk with out the wobble. They will be come more sure of them selves at week 4 and will set their dominance in the litter when feeding the one with the strongest tail will be the alpha. He/she will appoint him/her self the protector of his/her litter when moms out doing her thing. Always first to bark warnings stands his/her ground well. At this time they eat 4 /6 times a day nothing set in stone.
One black bi female in with these merles takes after the sire of this litter. This litter I'll do my best to up date the pictures once a week. I'll list there sex with in two weeks.
The contrast of mom's yellow color to blue merle color in her off spring is amazing. It's all in the merle gene which cause's the coloring. Yellow is a red factor with aussie's and most likely cause copper points to develop in her young in a few days
They will be sure footed at the 5th week and running, jumping playing a lot more during day then off to nap a short while. First shots will be given at this time and can be handled well. Feeding will be changed too to puppy food that I make fed @ 3 times a day. They have a full set of sharp puppy teeth. .5 ml/cc Febendazole De-wormer is given again at this time every other day for 3 days will rid any tape worm that could have invade them. Always to be safe then sorry. This is the best wormer on the market the others have links to bone marrow cancer this one dose not.
