Thanksgiving Day 2:30 am I wake up to this. The end result is three Australian Shepherds dead and one injured. Dec. 3 2011 We found the two males bodies in the woods. This was Cherry and TibbsJett Nola came home on the third night 11/27 Sunday close to 11:45 pm. She passed away 3:45 am Monday, before I could get her to the vets. I don't think it would have help if she would have made it there. She was in real bad shape.
I called the vets office, but got the emergery number on the recording dirrected me to Va. By the time I got to Va. the Vets office here would be open. But she never made it. She passed in my arms. The driver was arrested for DUI and place in custody two hours after the crash. He was allowed to mill around with the on lookers until the State police got here. The sheriffs office never place him in custody while they were waiting for the State police..

They winched the suv over to it's wheels and inched it out the same hole in came in. The State police came back that after noon to do some measuring. I was out there still repairing the huge hole and I told them that three of my aussie's were missing. The officer replyed; Don't worry they will come back. I found some conslation in those words at that time.You know in my mind I thought God would protect them surley he would, after all he's done the same for me many times. I prayed for them too. He didn't and found myself very angery with him over this still to this day. After all, there just innocent animals. Full of love and joy never hurt a sole. What difference could it make to him for them to not come back? Hay' I keep to his words as best I can. I'm good. Why? What did I do to deserve this?
If you can see that law enforcement sticker next to the tag this might explain why this man was allowed to mill around for two hours afterwards, or maybe not, if that's their normal procerdure they need to stop allowing that. He was just walking around the hole time even after getting in to the deputy's car in the front seat. He got out and was talking to people and rinseing his mouth out with some ones soft drink and seen gargling by the police too..

I searched for my aussie for days after. Nola came home and passway, but I never gave up looking for my two boys. I refused to believe they were dead until I seen them. Either they were hit and ran off and died, or they just were terified when the crash happen and ran out the hole and then were killed. They were found together in the same area. Big hunting day around here Thansgiving Day. They were found close together just meters apart. Wild animals had got to them. We got them home and buried them here..The driver has insureance with AAA Members INC., but they will not cover this loss, so I have to file a law suit., Unbelievable! Some humans. I have just a compleat loss of any deffintion for actions of some. Never apologized for his actions either..And I have to live with this unbareable loss that I can't begin to describe in any words just tears from the pit of stomach and the depths of my being, as if my spirt been crushed.Time heals all? No' don't see how that would work. Time is gone for them for me there is no healing. Only remembering.
